According to a recent report by the International Air Transport Association (IATA), Middle Eastern airlines had an 84.6% increase in traffic in November compared with the same month in 2021. According to the report, global traffic is currently 75.3% higher than November 2019 levels. Compared to November 2021, total traffic increased by 41.3% in November 2022.

International traffic increased 85.2% over November 2021. The Asia-Pacific region reported the highest results year-over-year. From November traffic results, it is clear consumers are enjoying their freedom of travel. IATA Director General Willie Walsh said that despite China reopening international travel, many governments continue to play science politics with Covid-19.
